The most common rotary pneumatic actuators are used for remote control of actuators, their openings and closings, and for indicating the position of the actuator. With compact dimensions, they have a high torque. In rotary cylinders, linear displacement of the piston produces rotational movement. The change happens through the movement of a toothed wheel, positioned inside a rotary drive. Thanks to the reaction system, pneumatic rotary drives ensure high accuracy and repeatability of the output. As a standard, pneumatic rotary drives are available for rotation angles: 90°, 180°, 270°, 360°, with piston diameters from 25 to 100 mm. For operation, pneumatic rotary actuators are recommended to use filtered compressed air with a material for better and longer operation.
